Palo Santo

Palo Santo are pieces from a tree (Bursera Graveolens) native to the regions surrounding Peru and Venezuela. Palo Santo is spanish for "Holy Stick" and it has been used as far back as the Inca period to cleanse bad energy away from not only houses/areas of inhabitance but also from the human spirit.
 
When using, light your piece of Palo Santo and let it establish a good flame before blowing out the flame to create a smoke trail. Use the smoke to cleanse the space or aura.
